Who is the ideal candidate for Invisalign®?
Our specialist orthodontists are able to treat mild to severe malocclusions (i.e. irregularities of the teeth) with Invisalign®. If Invisalign® isn't a suitable treatment, they can discuss alternative options.
How does Invisalign® work?
The Invisalign® system utilises a series of clear removable, moulded trays that position teeth using gentle pressure. Each set of aligners are shaped slightly differently, thus moving the teeth into position with minimum discomfort.
Is there an age limit for Invisalign®?
There’s no age limit for Invisalign®! It’s a great solution for everyone, from children as young as 7 to teens and adults of any age, offering a flexible and effective way to achieve a healthy smile.
Is Invisalign® better than other types of orthodontics or braces?

STEP 1: Book your consultation
Our team of highly skilled orthodontists will be able to assess your individual case and advise you on the best course of treatment. We offer a free initial consultation, so contact us today to book an appointment with our team.
STEP 2: Start your treatment
If you're a candidate for treatment, we will scan your teeth and send the scan to the Invisalign® laboratory, where they will create your customised treatment plan. This plan is then modified and finalised by our experienced orthodontists. Once your aligners are fitted, you will need to wear them for 20-22 hours daily and change them every week.
STEP 3: Smile with confidence
When you reach the end of treatment you will be given retainers to wear in bed at night to keep your teeth in alignment. We also provide 18 months aftercare to ensure your teeth stay in position.

Terms and conditions: This offer is valid for existing and new patients who attend the Invisalign® open day on Saturday 16th November 2024 at St Michael's Orthodontics for an initial Invisalign® consultation and confirm their course of Invisalign® treatment by Friday 22nd November 2024 to receive: £500 off a course of Invisalign® treatment, a free initial consultation (worth £149), free teeth whitening for patients over the age of 18 (worth £435); totalling up to £1,084 in savings. There is no substitute for the teeth whitening treatment for patients under the age of 18. Treatment also includes an 18-month after-care package including: three sets of Vivera™ retainers and fixed retainers as clinically necessary. Any decision to have a course of Invisalign® treatment after Friday 22nd November 2024 will be at full cost. A £25.00 fully refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the initial consultation which can either be refunded on the day or go towards the cost of treatment. Should you need to cancel your initial consultation, the deposit will be refunded providing 48 hours’ notice has been given prior to the open day date. Spaces are limited; consultations must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Offer is open to both under and over 18s and patients must be dentally fit to proceed with treatment. Whether a patient is deemed dentally fit for treatment will be at the clinician’s absolute discretion. Additional treatment required to make a patient dentally fit and suitable for Invisalign® and whitening treatments will be charged at an additional cost. For best results, Invisalign® aligners should be worn as directed by your clinician. Please note that St Michael's Orthodontics accepts no liability on behalf of the treating clinician and acts strictly as a liaison between the patient and the treating clinician only.
